Celtic Design Series By Aidan Meehan's
The brilliant, beautiful designs, decorations and patterns of the Celts - expressed in their metal-work,
stonework and jew-elry, and continued in the manuscript illuminations of Celtic Christianity - are an
astonishing artform whose legacy has fascinated both Celtic and non-Celtic peo-ples for many centuries right through to the present day. With over 200,000 copies sold since its inception in early 1992, Celtic
Design is a successful and growing series of practical, step-by-step guides to Celtic art, revealing fully the versatile power of these ornamen-tal designs. Invaluable for designers and crafts people of all kinds, each
book examines a different theme, exploring its history and studying in detail its diverse forms.
